Director of Sales

The Director of Sales position is currently available in the following offices: Washington, D.C., London, Taipei, Sydney

About the Position

Building brand recognition for our product is the key to our company’s success. As a Director of Sales, you will be on the frontline of generating excitement and demand for our unique software solutions while leading and partnering with other sales team members to this end. By identifying customer and prospect product requirements, qualifying sales opportunities, and building a pipeline of leads, you will engage in prospect discussions and demonstrations, directly contributing to
the company’s profitability and validating its place as a leader in the industry.

  • Work closely with executive team members to move sales processes into signed deals

  • Act as the lead internal expert to support sales training for new hires
  • Act as a mentor and advisor to each inside salesperson
  • Work with executive team to establish goals and metrics for each inside salesperson
  • Track and report performance for each inside salesperson and for the team as a whole
  • Generate outstanding individual performance while fostering a team oriented environment within the sales group, between the sales group, and with other arms of APT
  • Coordinate closely with Marketing

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • Superior academic record
  • Demonstrated excellence and career development in a sales role
  • Demonstrated experience selling enterprise software solution to c-level clients within one of our core verticals: retail, consumer goods, banking, or telecommunications
  • Demonstrated excellence selling technical solutions to businesses; knowledge of the corporate procurement process
  • A proven aptitude for learning technical terms and developing an understanding of complex technical products
  • High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment
  • Professional with good organization and planning skills
  • Good communication and persuasion skills, both written and oral
  • Works well in teams
  • 5-7 years’ experience in the sales field
